It's memorial day weekend and time for a quick getaway!

If you are anything like me, you need others to make you a packing list or you will leave almost everything at home and not realize until you get to your destination.

The basics to pack for a weekend getaway are clothes, accessories, and makeup!

I love reading about quick getaway trips and came across a very useful article from Lauren Conrad just in time for my small 3 day trip to Palm Springs, CA.

Make sure you always pack with you:

- Sunglasses

- Big floppy hat

- Camera

- A really good book

- Cute sandals

- Swimsuits (try the new neon trend)

- Aloe Vera (after you get sunburned)

- iPod, iPhone, iPad
