New York City

Thank God for WiFi!

I am on a plane, as we speak, on my way to New York for 5 days.

Since you guys are the most amazing followers and friends, I wanted to keep you updated about my whereabouts and tell you the reason why I will be MIA for a few days.

I haven't been to NYC in almost 6 years and my friends are going for the first time. We will be doing a lot of shopping, sightseeing, eating amazing food, and much more.

I hope to also squeeze in some networking opportunities with my wonderful blogger friends in NYC.

A Printed Illusion

Scarf print blouses are perfect for summer and fall. 

Although it’s still warm out here in L.A, it’s starting to get chilly out at night. 

I paired my Zara blouse with some coated jeans for a night out to dinner with friends. I have also worn this top with acid washed ripped jeans to make it more fun and casual. 

It's a perfect piece to either dress up or down.

STRIPED ATTRACTION

The second photo shoot with Eric was more silly and by that time, I would like to think I had gotten the whole "pose" in front of the camera thing down.

I am wearing my favorite military green colored skirt from Metropark.

I have had that skirt for a while and wear it every season. During the summer, I pair it with a black bodysuit for warm summer nights and during fall/winter I can't help but to throw it on with some ankle booties.

I paired it with a striped knit top to add more versatility to the look.

CAMO LOVE

Camouflage is big this upcoming Fall.
I have been lusting over all of these over sized camo jackets and pants with their intricate details for a while now.
Studs. Jewels. Zipper details. Different print variations.

Street style is so inspirational.

THOSE SUMMER DAYS

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting with Eric I, an LA based photographer.

Picture yourself in a heat wave, about 95 degrees, and ask yourself what you would wear on such a hot summer day.

The first look we created was full of fun colors and the mixing of two big trends, the acid washed denim shorts with an over sized blouson top.

The accessories were key for me because the silver accents made the outfit more feminine and cheerful.

Eric and I spent the day laughing hysterically at my dorky poses as I tried to figure out how to pose in versatile ways.

I know I was MIA for a week but please forgive me. 

Not only did my Iphone screen completely shatter into pieces but I had several personal projects I was working on that took over my life.

Now that the crazy whirlwind has slowed down, I am excited to be back at it.
