Pastels. Brights. All white. Lace inserts. Crochet. Shorts.
I can go on for hours about how incredibly happy spring/summer clothing makes me. With winter finally over and Spring just here, I couldn't help but to want to share some of favorite trends for this season with you. I always get really excited for warmer weather but living in has already spoiled me with that factor. I can't wait to incorporate these trends into my personal style posts and I hope you obsess over them as much as I am currently.
Not your classical white shirt
If I could define Victoria Beckham's Spring 2014 rtw collection, I would definitely say "crisp" and "sporty". Mostly consisting of black, white and shades of grey, her button-downs are what stood out to me. We can all conclude that a classic white shirt acts as a foundation piece in all of our wardrobes but this season our white shirt is coming with a twist. Sheer panel detailing and asymmetrical hemlines are taking center stage for spring.

A biker jacket in any color but black
The biker jacket has made its impact quite strongly and was a key item for Fall/winter. Now it's time we add a second biker piece to our wardrobe and also in color! It's safe to say more than 75% of the jackets I own are both leather and/or fall under the biker trend category. This Antonio Berardi piece is gorgeous and completely lust worthy!

Sugar Coated Lace
I love lace and can wear it year round! This has to be one of my absolute favorites from Burberry Prorsum. It is in a gorgeous pastel color and it's more playful because of it's see through detailing. This trend is elegant but also adds a sex appeal with it's sheerness. Lace will definitely be incorporated into many pieces this season!

Twin sets
Are you in love with this twin set from Michael Kors? The crop top isn't going anywhere and now paired with a pencil skirt, it's only elegant but super playful. I am obsessed with matching tops and bottoms and have to get myself a twin set!

Shine like metallic
Metallic details usually reflect resort and winter/holiday season but not this time! Good news, the metallic trend will be big this spring and it can be dressed up or down. I like how Saint Laurent created a glamorous metallic look with this dress but I will most likely add just metallic accents to my wardrobe.

Say it loud and proud!
This season is all about the words that are stated on your shirt, dress, jacket, etc, such as this Christian Dior dress. Whether the clothing is shouting out a motto or brand, it reflects what you stand for and believe in.
