It is yet another Monday and still really hot in Los Angeles. It's going to be a busy week and I can't wait to share with you what's to come next. Make sure to tag along on Instagram: @StudsandSapphires because I will be taking you on a new adventure that I am really excited about!
A lot of you have been mentioning that my last few outfits have gotten you excited for fall and that makes me so happy! If anyone is excited for scarves, hats, and boots, it's this girl right here! I have constantly been on the Internet searching for new fall pieces and stumbled upon this faux leather skirt. I shrieked from excitement because it's the exact cut and silhouette I have been looking for, which resulted in me wearing it in 98 degree weather. Oh boy!
I will definitely be pairing it with various silhouettes but I chose a white embroidered blouse to keep it chic. I will stop wearing black when they invest a darker color is completely true. Since the outfit was very crisp and clean, I added touches of gold as my accessories.

Lillian

I love Fall weather exactly for this, the layers! I love being creative with my outfits and Fall always "wakes up" a billion ideas in my head on how to dress up, but when the Winter comes, all I can do is make sure that I stay warm and practical and that pretty much "kills" any creativity that Fall brought. :D

Love this look and I'm among those excited for fall! Can't wait to see what you have in store. Los Angeles, like the Bay Area, has the same issue of being warm longer than it should be in the fall...I'm enjoying the pencil skirt/long-sleeved top look as well myself during the transition.
